IN PLAIN WORDS.

DO I OWN THE FILES?: Yes. The logo as SVG, PDF and PNG, the color and font list, and the website as the live site and its source. Handed over when the last invoice is paid.
HOW MANY CHANGES DO I GET?: Two rounds on the logo and one on the site, in the price. If it's still wrong after that we keep going until it's right. A round that changes direction after approval is $75.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?: Spark, one to two business days. Ignition, two to five once we have your photos and text. Top Fuel, three to seven. Working days, counted from the day the email lands with what we asked for. The Google listing goes in the same week; its verification runs on Google's clock.
HOW DO I PAY?: Half to start, half when it goes live. Card or bank transfer, invoiced from Wave. Bank transfer has no fee.
WHO OWNS THE DOMAIN AND THE HOSTING?: You. The domain is registered in your name and billed to you. The site is deployed in your own free Cloudflare account, with us added as a member so we can make edits. Nothing is held hostage.
WHAT DOES IGNITION ACTUALLY INCLUDE?: A logo with its one-color version, a one-page website that loads fast on a phone, and your Google Business Profile set up: service area, categories, hours, photos. $375, flat, with local SEO on the site. The site and logo go live in days; the listing goes in the same week. The first month of Afterburn is included.
WHAT IS AFTERBURN, AND WHAT HAPPENS IF I STOP IT?: Hosting and upkeep for your site, in three plans. $50 a month covers hosting, the domain and two edits a month. $75 a month is the same plus more bandwidth and two Google posts. $100 a month is the $75 plan plus the most bandwidth and replies to your Google reviews. Month to month, cancel by email. Stop it and the site stays up in your own account; you just make the edits yourself.
IS THERE A 'SITE BY' CREDIT ON MY WEBSITE?: Yes, a small one in the footer: the mark and SITE BY OPTICBURNER, linking back to us. It's on every site we build by default, and it comes off the day you ask, no charge and no argument.
DO YOU INSTALL WRAPS?: No. We design the wrap or the lettering to match the rest of the brand and hand you print-ready files, per vehicle. A full wrap design is $250 per vehicle, with three proofs to pick from and one free revision after delivery. More of the same vehicle share that design at no extra charge. A local wrap shop quotes the print and the install separately. If you already use one, we build to their spec.
CAN YOU GET MY CARDS AND FLYERS PRINTED TOO?: Yes, if you want us to. The design is $50, $75 or $150 a piece, depending on what it is. The printing costs what it would cost you to order it online yourself, plus sales tax, and it ships to you. You see the price with the proof and nothing prints until you approve it. Reorders are just the printing.
CAN YOU GET ME TO THE TOP OF GOOGLE?: Nobody can promise that honestly. Google decides the map, and the way it decides changes. What we promise is the work: listings that match everywhere, a complete Google profile, reviews asked for and answered, and a report every month that shows where you stand and what changed.
WILL YOU ASK MY CUSTOMERS FOR REVIEWS?: On Beacon from $200 a month, yes. Send us the customer's name and email when the job is done, or copy us on the invoice, and a short request with the link to your review box goes out. Every customer gets one, happy or not, and nobody is offered anything for a review; Google's rules forbid both. Every review gets a reply within two business days.
WHO WRITES THE SOCIAL POSTS?: We do, from your brand kit, your services and the photos you send. AI drafts the captions and lays out the designs, and a person reads every post before it's scheduled. Any photo of work is your real photo. AI never makes a picture of a job.
CAN I CANCEL THE MONTHLY PLANS?: Yes. Afterburn, Smoke Signals and Beacon are all month to month, cancelled by email. The current month isn't refunded and nothing is charged after it. What we made stays yours: the site, the post templates and the posts, and the listings, which are in your name.
DOES MY TRUCK END UP ONLINE?: Only if you say so. The video goes to you. It's posted on our page only when you tell us it can be, and plates and phone numbers are blurred if it is.

THE TERMS.

WHAT A JOB INCLUDES

Each package includes exactly what the price sheet says for it, and the price sheet on the day you start is the price you pay. Anything outside that scope is quoted before it's done, in writing, and only done if you say yes.

REVISIONS

Two rounds of changes on a logo and one on a website are in the price. If it's still wrong after those rounds, we keep going until it's right at no charge. A round that changes direction after you've approved a proof is $75.

TIMELINES

Spark one to two business days; Ignition two to five; Top Fuel three to seven. Working days, counted from the day the email lands with what we asked you for. A Google Business Profile is submitted within the job's timeline; its verification runs on Google's clock, and we can't move it.

PAYMENT

Half of the package price to start, half when it goes live. Invoiced from Wave; card or bank transfer, and bank transfer has no fee. Work starts when the deposit lands. The final files and the handover happen when the final invoice is paid.

If an invoice is thirty days late, work stops and Afterburn pauses until it's paid. Nothing is taken down; your site lives in your own account.

WHAT YOU OWN

When the final invoice is paid you own the logo and every file of it, the website and its source, and the brand kit. The domain is registered in your name and billed to you. The site is deployed in your own hosting account, with us added as a member so we can make edits; remove us any time.

We keep the right to show the finished work here and on our own social accounts as an example of our work, with your business name. Email us and we'll take it down; that's the whole opt-out.

THE CREDIT

Every site we build carries a small footer credit: the mark and SITE BY OPTICBURNER, linking to opticburner.com. It's on by default (decision 30). Ask, in an email, and it comes off; there's no fee for that and it doesn't change anything else in these terms.

WHAT YOU SEND

You confirm that you own, or have the right to use, whatever you send us: logos, photos, text, a previous designer's files. We don't copy another business's brand, and we won't build from one you send us.

THE TORCH

The free video is made from what you send. It goes to you. It's posted on our page only if you tell us it can be, and plates and phone numbers are blurred if it is. Email and it's deleted, along with what you sent.

THE MONTHLY PLANS

Afterburn, Smoke Signals and Beacon are each month to month. Cancel by email any time; the current month isn't refunded, and nothing is charged after it. When Afterburn ends the site stays up in your own account and you make the edits yourself, or you come back later. When Smoke Signals ends the post templates and every post stay yours. When Beacon ends the listings stay in your name.

SMOKE SIGNALS

The posts are made from your brand kit and the photos you send. AI drafts the captions and lays out the designs, and a person reads every post before it's scheduled. We never generate a photo of your work; a post with no job behind it is type and color only.

The month's posts are emailed to you before the month starts. Change or pull anything, any time; if you don't reply, they run as sent. We don't answer comments or messages on your behalf.

BEACON

Nobody can guarantee a ranking, and we don't. We do the work in your plan every month and send a report that shows where you stand. Listings are created or claimed in your name, with us added as a manager.

From the $200 tier we send a review request to the customers you pass us, every one of them, happy or not, and never with anything offered for a review. Their names and emails are used for that request and nothing else. Every review gets a reply in your voice within two business days.

REFUNDS

The deposit is refundable in full until design work starts. After the first proof, the deposit covers the work done. Once a job is live there are no refunds; if something is wrong, we fix it.

THESE TERMS

Plain English on purpose. They apply to jobs started on or after 2026-09-26; a job already under way keeps the terms it started on. OPTICBURNER is a studio in Bellevue, Nebraska, and Nebraska law applies. This page isn't legal advice, and nothing on it overrides the law.
